The Pivot table is a powerful and extremely useful tool to prepare a consolidation of data. This is particularly useful where some or all of the row headings are repeated and need to be totalled. But if there is more than one range or table of source data which needs to be consolidated, how do we go about doing that? The answer lies in constructing a ‘Multi Range Pivot Table’.
The purpose of our spreadsheet Multi Range Pivot Table is to consolidate several ranges or tables. This is where the column headings are the same but the row headings may well be different. The pivot table in the example spreadsheet consolidates into one, two tables on one sheet and two tables on a second sheet.
